Decisions 3x

Decisions 3x

When it comes to making big decisions, I struggle sometimes. I worry about making the wrong choice, and how it will impact my future. Should I stay or should I go?  Should I save or should I spend? My mind evaluates both options until I've exhausted myself, and don't want to take any action at all. When I finally do make a decision,  anxiety consumes me. I contemplate whether or not I should change my mind, or worse.. what if it’s too late to change my mind? My close group of friends and family give recommendations and advice, and sometimes it helps. Other times it just heightens my confusion and uncertainty about what I should actually do or what I've already done.

This year I'm striving to be more confident in my decision making. I'm trusting my intuition and my discernment skills, because so far I've done pretty well for myself. I have no desire to lie awake at night with thoughts of how things will turn out. Instead I want to lean into whatever decisions I've made for myself, and look forward to the best that is yet to come. Pessimism and nervousness are taking a backseat this year, making way for gratitude and optimism to move into the forefront.

If you also feel anxious about your decisions, and what direction they will lead you in,  I encourage you to trust yourself more this year. Evaluate  what you want out of life, and make conscious choices  that lead you to those things. Even if you don't end up where you thought you would, you will be made better because of it. It's kind of like that quote about shooting for the moon and landing in the stars.  Get excited about the outcome, whatever it may be, because greatness lies ahead... for you and me both!
