Eating With Aesthetic @ Sketch London
Whether you are paying for to take pictures in the retro-stylized bathrooms, or paying to eat the most photogenic meal of your life, money spent at Sketch London is money well spent!
As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the presence of glamorous decor paired with intimate lighting. You will find a number of successful businessmen and women dining in style, as well as some fashion and style bloggers who have come from all corners of the city to get the perfect meal along with the perfect bathroom selfie. The interior of Sketch is adorned with art that is tasteful and facinating. You feel almost as if you've stepped into an underground spaceship complete with it's own modern dining hall.
Though the menu doesn't cater to those looking to eat the most economical meal, there are some less expensive options that will still satisfy your taste buds.
Pictured above is Aubergine and Black Garlic Tortellino "Pitchi" Sauce. If you think it looks pretty on the plate, it tastes even better! This entree will run you about £19.
Truth be told, when I opened the menu and saw the prices, I shifted in my seat and readjusted my vision to make sure I was seeing clearly. If you are a financially challenged college student like myself, dinner at Sketch is definitely something you budget for!
For dessert I went with these colorful Macarons, which were only about £6 (collectively). When it comes to new foods and foreign flavors I generally tend to keep an open mind and palette, however all were delicious in my opinion except the pistachio (green) one!
Dinner at Sketch calls for your best evening wear look and a roundup of all your most stylish friends, so if you are in London anytime soon, don't forget to make the trip!
